The Presidium of the Polish Accreditation Committee has issued a positive programme evaluation for the Management Engineering programme offered at the Kraków branch of WSB University. The evaluation concerns first-cycle studies with a practical profile.
The assessment is comprehensive, with no conditions or reservations. The Committee concluded that all criteria set out in the Regulation of the Minister of Science and Higher Education on programme evaluation have been met. The next PKA evaluation visit for this programme is not scheduled until the 2031/2032 academic year, which means accreditation has been granted for the full cycle.
The PKA Presidium confirmed that the educational process delivered at the Kraków branch of WSB University enables students to achieve the intended learning outcomes. A key strength of the programme is its combination of managerial and engineering competencies. As a result, graduates leave the University prepared to work in modern manufacturing and service enterprises.
The study programme places strong emphasis on engagement with the social and economic environment. Students cooperate with companies, public institutions and industry organisations, benefit from a broad range of specialisations, classes taught in English and the opportunity to follow a fully English-taught study path.
The Committee also emphasised that the learning outcomes are clearly defined, achievable and consistent with the practical profile of the programme. The teaching process is based on modern educational methods, including projects, case studies, laboratory classes and specialist tools supporting the development of practical competencies.
Compulsory work placements, numerous meetings with business representatives and study visits are also of great importance. The experts also positively assessed the organisation of the educational process, the diversity of teaching methods and measures undertaken to internationalise the programme.
