Professor Katarzyna Szczepańska-Woszczyna, Vice-Rector for Science and Education at WSB University, participated in the ceremony marking the opening of the new headquarters of the Honorary Consulate of France in Katowice.
The office commenced its operations in the building of the General Secondary School Complex No. 1 named after Nicolaus Copernicus, located on Sienkiewicza Street. As emphasized during the inauguration by the Honorary Consul of France in Katowice, attorney Anna Krasuska-Terrillon, the new location highlights the importance of international cooperation in the field of education and the development of Polish–French relations in the region.
The event forms part of activities aimed at deepening the partnership between Katowice and the French city of Saint-Étienne, as well as strengthening economic and institutional cooperation. The presence of representatives of the academic community, including WSB University, underscores the role of the University in internationalization processes and in building lasting relations between Poland and France.
