We are proud to announce that the Management programme (second-cycle studies / Master’s level) at WSB University has been awarded the international EFMD Programme Accreditation.
The accreditation granted by EFMD is one of the most prestigious distinctions in the field of management education worldwide. It is awarded exclusively to programmes that meet rigorous international quality standards covering, among others, the curriculum, academic staff, cooperation with business, and the tangible impact on the development of students’ competencies.
In the justification of the decision, particular emphasis was placed on the programme’s strong links with the business environment, as well as its success in shaping a global perspective—the so-called global mindset—among students. This distinction confirms the practical nature of the studies and their international dimension.
In addition, the level of internationalization of the programme, the quality and personalization of student support, teaching methods enabling the development of students’ project-based and practical competencies, and career development support—resulting in a high level of graduate employability—were all highly evaluated.
Obtaining the accreditation means that:
- the programme responds to current labour market needs and the challenges of modern business,
- the educational process is based on modern, engaging teaching methods,
- students develop practical managerial competencies and a global perspective,
- the university operates in accordance with international standards of educational quality.
This achievement is the result of the commitment of the entire WSB University community—academic staff, students, alumni, and business and international partners. We would like to thank everyone who contributed to this success.
The accreditation process is co-financed under the initiative of the Minister responsible for higher education and science entitled “International accreditations for the development of Polish universities,” implemented within the European Funds for Social Development 2021–2027 programme. The project is carried out by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education as the beneficiary of the non-competitive project FERS.01.05-IP.08-0437/23.
