Professorial Nomination for Prof. Monika Bąk-Sosnowska

Prof. Monika Bąk-Sosnowska, PhD, DSc, an eminent health psychologist and Director of the Center for Psychosomatics and Health Prevention at WSB University, has received her professor nomination from the President of the Republic of Poland. The ceremony took place at the Presidential Palace in Warsaw.

This prestigious distinction crowns many years of research, teaching, and expert activity – carried out with passion and dedication also within the walls of our University. Prof. Bąk-Sosnowska not only leads an interdisciplinary team at the Collegium Medicum of WSB University but also inspires students and the academic community to boldly integrate health sciences with psychology and social responsibility.

She is the author of numerous scientific publications, a popularizer of knowledge, and a highly respected lecturer. For years, she has been working at the intersection of science and practice, particularly in the fields of body psychology, mental health, and health education. Her work lays the foundations for the development of modern lifestyle medicine – open, human-centered, and socially engaged.
