The QS ranking – published by the British organization Quacquarelli Symonds – is based on an advanced methodology designed to assess universities comprehensively using indicators that reflect the most important dimensions of institutional performance:
- academic reputation and employer reputation,
- research performance and citations,
- internationalization,
- teaching quality,
- and student experience indicators.
This methodology captures not only academic output, but also the effectiveness of teaching and the real value studies deliver to students and graduates. The QS Europe regional ranking is particularly important because it shows a university’s position in the geopolitical and academic context of Europe as a whole, not only within national rankings.
