Quo Vadis, Europe? Warsaw Hosts Debate on the Future of the EU

The challenges facing the European Union are the main theme of the Blended Intensive Programme 2026 (BIP), taking place at the Warsaw Faculty of WSB University.

From Monday (11 May) to Friday (15 May), 50 students and lecturers from the Netherlands, Lithuania, Portugal, Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as Brazil, Colombia, and Georgia are participating in a special meeting organised within the framework of Erasmus+. BIP represents modern forms of education focused on international cooperation and the search for a common path towards addressing the most important challenges facing Europe. “It is an excellent model of international cooperation between students and university staff alike, creating real opportunities for problem-solving, especially in the difficult times we are undoubtedly living through,” says Dr Katarzyna Gajewska, Vice-Rector of WSB University Warsaw and coordinator of BIP ’26.

The programme includes lectures on, among other topics, the rule of law and democracy in the EU, intercultural psychology, the functioning and future of the euro currency, mental health in the digital era, as well as cybersecurity and the judiciary. Students also have an opportunity to become more familiar with Warsaw – its history as well as its contemporary character.
