Representation of WSB University at the 2nd National Congress of Scientific Disciplines
Prof. Bernard Wiśniewski, PhD, DSc, Eng., Director of the Centre for Research Methodology in Security Sciences at WSB University, and Dr hab. Paulina Polko, Chair of the Scientific Discipline Council for Security Sciences at WSB University, participated in the 2nd National Congress of Scientific Disciplines: Political Science and Public Administration, Security Sciences, and International Relations.
The event took place on 14–15 May this year at the Faculty of International and Political Studies of the Jagiellonian University and was combined with the celebrations marking the 25th anniversary of the Faculty.
During the congress, Prof. Bernard Wiśniewski introduced the discussion concerning the current state of the discipline of security sciences, including ongoing academic promotion proceedings and the criteria for the evaluation of scientific achievements.
Dr hab. Paulina Polko presented information regarding the research areas conducted within the discipline of security sciences at WSB University and also took part in the discussion devoted to academic promotion proceedings.
