WSB University Cooperates with the Silesian Chamber of Agriculture

WSB University and the Silesian Chamber of Agriculture have signed a cooperation agreement aimed at developing joint educational, scientific and research-and-development initiatives, as well as at further strengthening the links between academic education and professional practice.

The agreement was signed by Professor Zdzisława Dacko-Pikiewicz, Rector of WSB University, and Roman Włodarz, MSc Eng., President of the Management Board of the Silesian Chamber of Agriculture. The meeting was also attended by Bożena Hankiewicz, Director of the Chamber’s Management Board Office, and Professor Marek Walancik, Director of the Centre for Research and Education of Uniformed Services.

The cooperation will include, among other things, the joint implementation of educational and scientific projects, the organisation of postgraduate programmes, training courses and courses, as well as the development of study programmes and specialisations that respond to the needs of the socio-economic environment.

An important element of the agreement will also be creating opportunities for the professional development of WSB University students and course participants. The partners plan to cooperate in organising professional placements, study visits, training sessions, recruitment events and initiatives supporting the development of entrepreneurial competencies.
