WSB University for the safety of Jaworzno

WSB University shares its knowledge with local governments so that Polish cities can become safer. Several thousand public administration officials have already benefited from training delivered by our experts in the fields of Civil Defence and Civil Protection. The next step in building a society resilient to threats are lectures and workshops concerning, among others, the most advanced monitoring technologies. One such meeting was held in Jaworzno.

Dr Grzegorz Matuszek, Vice-Dean for Education at WSB University, introduced the city authorities to modern technology and the opportunities it offers. Our expert spoke, among other things, about how the role of monitoring systems has changed over the years. Currently, the response time to a threat is less than five seconds. In many cases, technology makes it possible to respond to a threat before it even occurs.
