A formal Graduation Gala of the WSB University Faculty in Warsaw was held in the prestigious interiors of the Palace of Culture and Science. The event marked the completion of the Faculty’s first academic year in the capital and provided an opportunity to reflect on its achievements to date and plans for further development.
During the ceremony, graduates of the following programmes received their diplomas: Administration, Internal Security, English Philology, Spanish Philology, Russian Philology, and Finance and Accounting. The best students were also honoured with distinctions and awards for their academic achievements, activity, and involvement in university life.
The ceremony was hosted by Prof. Katarzyna Szczepańska-Woszczyna, Vice-Rector for Science and Education at WSB University, and Prof. Iwona Klonowska, Dean of the WSB University Faculty in Warsaw. The Gala was conducted by Dominik Penar, Vice-Dean for Development at WSB University.

“You have earned this moment. Be proud of yourselves. Thanks to you, our magenta has found its place in Warsaw, and we hope that we will continue to enjoy your friendship, trust, and presence within the WSB University community for many years to come. My heartfelt congratulations to all Graduates.”- said Prof. Katarzyna Szczepańska-Woszczyna.
In her address, she also presented the University’s development, its most important achievements, and plans for the coming years, highlighting the dynamic growth of WSB University and the strengthening of its position on the higher education landscape.

Prof. Iwona Klonowska also addressed the Graduates:
“This is a special evening and an exceptional year. Together, we are building the position of WSB University in Warsaw, and as early as this autumn, we will launch further ambitious projects, including new degree programmes. I congratulate all those who have received distinctions – you have worked with tremendous commitment over the past few years to achieve this success. I wish you that the knowledge and experience you have gained will provide a solid foundation for your future professional and personal success,”- the Dean of the Faculty emphasised.
The ceremony was attended by representatives of public administration, uniformed services, state institutions, and WSB University’s partners.
Among those who honoured the Gala with their presence were Inspector Robert Koźlak, Chief Inspector of Road Transport; Inspector Robert Frąckowiak, Deputy Commander of the Warsaw Metropolitan Police; Dr Marta Kapusta, Director of the Department of University Organisation and Student Affairs at the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Senate Education Committee, the Marshal’s Office of the Mazowieckie Voivodeship, the Warsaw City Hall, the Warsaw Centre for Educational and Social Innovation and Training, and NASK.
The artistic finale of the evening was a concert by Krystian Leśnik - a 14-year-old tenor and winner of the 16th edition of the “Mam Talent!” television programme. His performance was enthusiastically received by the participants and perfectly complemented the ceremonial character of the event.
The Gala was not only a celebration of the Graduates, but also a symbolic summary of the first year of operation of the WSB University Faculty in Warsaw. They are the first generation of Graduates of the Warsaw Faculty, contributing to its history and confirming that WSB University has become a permanent part of the capital’s academic landscape. New challenges and new directions for development lie ahead for the University, while new professional and academic opportunities await the Graduates.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all Graduates and wish them every success in achieving their future goals, as well as fulfilment and satisfaction in their further professional and personal journeys.
