On 14 July, the Graduation Ceremony for first-cycle and second-cycle graduates of WSB University took place in Kraków. The event brought together graduates of the National Security, Management, and Management Engineering programmes, along with their families, thesis supervisors, academic staff, and representatives of the University's authorities.
The ceremony was opened by Dean Dr Edyta Nowak-Żółty, who warmly welcomed the guests and congratulated the graduates on completing this important stage of their education. In her address, she emphasised the significance of the knowledge and competencies they had acquired, which provide a solid foundation for their further professional and personal development.
A particularly special moment of the ceremony was the recognition of graduates who achieved outstanding academic results, authored exceptional diploma theses, and attained notable sporting achievements. In the 2025/2026 academic year, upon the recommendation of thesis supervisors and reviewers, the Rector of WSB University honoured the authors of 14 diploma theses, as well as three graduates for their exceptional academic achievements.
The awarded theses addressed important and highly relevant topics in the fields of security, forensic science, management, communication, and contemporary social challenges. Their high academic standard reflected the graduates' commitment, their ability to conduct independent analyses, and their practical application of the knowledge gained during their studies.

The most eagerly anticipated part of the ceremony was the presentation of graduation diplomas. This symbolic moment marked the culmination of years of study, dedicated work, and the acquisition of new competencies, while at the same time opening the door to the next stage of the graduates' professional and personal lives.
Following the official part of the ceremony, participants enjoyed a concert by Marta Sitek, leader of the band Need for Strings. The musical performance gave the event a unique atmosphere and provided a memorable conclusion to an evening filled with emotion.
The WSB University Graduation Ceremony in Kraków provided an opportunity to celebrate success together, reflect on the years of study, and express gratitude to thesis supervisors, lecturers, families, and everyone who supported the graduates throughout their academic journey.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all graduates. We wish you every success, professional fulfilment, the courage to embrace new challenges, and the very best in achieving your future goals.
