WSB University - Leader of the Q-Helix European Universities Alliance at EAIE 2026

As the leader of the Q-Helix European Universities Alliance, which brings together higher education institutions from ten European countries, WSB University is participating in EAIE 2026 - one of Europe’s most important events dedicated to the internationalisation of higher education.

The Alliance connects academia with business, public administration, society and the environmental sector, creating a platform for developing new European initiatives and international cooperation. Its activities focus on four areas: security, health, environmental protection and smart cities, with the use of innovative and interdisciplinary solutions.

WSB University is represented at the conference, held in Glasgow from 8 to 11 September, by Professor Katarzyna Szczepańska-Woszczyna, Vice-Rector for Research and Education; Paweł Urgacz, Associate Dean for Internationalisation and Director of the International Cooperation Department; and Ewelina Widerska.

The European Universities Initiative is currently one of the most important projects implemented by the European Union in the academic sector. There are currently only 73 such alliances operating across Europe, bringing together several hundred higher education institutions that cooperate in the areas of education, research, mobility and innovation. For the past three years, WSB University has served as the leader of one of them—the Q-Helix Alliance.
