WSB University on the Podium of the Best Universities in Poland

3rd place among all non-public universities in Poland, 1st place among non-public universities in the Silesian Voivodeship, and 3rd place among all public and non-public universities in the country in the category of Security-Related Programmes - these are WSB University’s results in this year’s prestigious Perspektywy Higher Education Ranking 2026.

The tremendous success of maintaining WSB University’s high position in the Academic Universities Ranking - among more than 300 universities in Poland authorised to confer doctoral and post-doctoral degrees - is a direct result of the University’s systematic scientific development, the continuous advancement of education, and international accreditations such as EFMD, BSIS, CEEMAN, and KAUT.

In the 2026 Study Programmes Ranking, WSB University also confirmed its strong position in educating IT specialists, ranking 5th in the country. The programmes in Management, Logistics, and Transport were ranked among the TOP 10 across all Polish universities.

WSB University remains among the most internationalised universities in Poland. The University’s strategic development in this area includes the establishment of the Q-Helix European University Alliance and its role as the consortium leader, as well as research, implementation, and educational projects carried out by international research teams under grants and programmes such as Horizon Europe, COST, Interreg, the National Centre for Research and Development (NCBR), Erasmus+, and the Visegrad Funds.

The Perspektywy Higher Education Ranking 2026 is one of the most prestigious and influential educational rankings in Poland and is also recognised within the international academic community. The ranking holds the IREG Approved quality certificate awarded by the IREG Observatory on Academic Ranking and Excellence - an international organisation of experts specialising in the analysis and development of higher education rankings.

The quality of the ranking is overseen by the Ranking Committee chaired by Professor Michał Kleiber, former President of the Polish Academy of Sciences and former Chairman of the Polish National Commission for UNESCO.
