WSB University is among just five Polish higher education institutions participating in projects selected for funding under this year’s Erasmus Mundus Design Measures (EMDM) call. As part of the AIDeHI – AI & Data Systems for Health Decision Intelligence project, an international consortium will develop a comprehensive framework for a new joint Master’s programme combining artificial intelligence, data analytics and decision-making in the healthcare sector.
Erasmus Mundus Design Measures supports higher education institutions in developing a new generation of innovative, integrated and international joint Master’s programmes. The WSB University project is among the 50 projects selected for funding in this year’s call.
The AIDeHI (AI & Data Systems for Health Decision Intelligence) project is being jointly developed by four higher education institutions:
- Universum International College – Kosovo,
- European University of Tirana – Albania,
- National and Kapodistrian University of Athens – School of Medicine – Greece,
- WSB University – Poland.
The partners will work together to develop both the academic aspects of the future programme and its governance model, quality assurance system, as well as its legal and organisational framework. Particular emphasis will be placed on establishing common educational standards, student mobility rules, the recognition of academic achievements and a joint programme management system.
WSB University’s participation in AIDeHI strengthens the University’s international academic cooperation in areas related to artificial intelligence, digital transformation, data analytics and the application of new technologies in the healthcare sector.
The project also marks another step in the development of international education programmes designed to respond to emerging labour market needs as well as social and technological challenges, whose solutions increasingly require close cooperation between specialists from different fields and countries.
