WSB University has formalized a new partnership with the District Court in Katowice aimed at fostering research and educational initiatives related to the judiciary. The agreement, signed on 20 February 2026 at WSB University, sets the framework for joint projects, knowledge exchange, and practical educational activities.
The District Court was represented by President Senior Judge Agata Stankiewicz‑Rataj, while the agreement on behalf of WSB University was signed by Rector Prof. Zdzisława Dacko‑Pikiewicz. Their signatures mark the beginning of a collaboration designed to bring together academic expertise and judicial practice.
The partnership includes opportunities for students and staff to engage in projects exploring legal and judicial processes, participate in educational programs, and contribute to research that supports the functioning of public institutions. Also attending the signing ceremony were Prof. Marek Walancik, Director of the Centre for Research and Education of Uniformed Services, and Dr. Aleksandra Klimek‑Lakomy, Vice‑Dean of the Faculty of Applied Sciences at WSB University.
