Medical Simulation for Teaching Staff

Instructor Training in High-Fidelity Medical Simulation for the Teaching Staff of Collegium Medicum at WSB University


On April 28–29, 2025, the Multiprofile Medical Simulation Center at Collegium Medicum, WSB University, hosted a specialist training course for academic staff, focused on conducting high-fidelity medical simulations.

The training aimed to prepare participants to serve as instructors in realistic simulation scenarios that reflect actual clinical situations. The program covered topics such as designing and implementing simulation scenarios, operating advanced technological simulators, conducting debriefings, and evaluating learning outcomes.

The workshops were delivered by experienced experts in medical simulation and were highly practical in nature. Participants gained the knowledge and skills required to effectively use simulation as an innovative teaching method in educating medical and healthcare students.

Our Multiprofile Medical Simulation Center is a modern educational facility that continues to develop dynamically. The organization of this kind of training not only enhances the professional competencies of academic staff but also demonstrates the commitment of Collegium Medicum at WSB University to continuously improving the quality of education and implementing innovative teaching methods.

The training was conducted as part of the project "EduTrend – Modern Education for the Future of the Economy," within the European Funds for Social Development 2021–2027, co-financed by the European Social Fund Plus, Priority 1: Skills, Action 01.05: Skills in Higher Education, under a call from the National Centre for Research and Development – Education for the Needs of the Economy.
