Computer Science – Bachelor’s degree studies (7 semesters, Engineer’s degree) conducted in English is a modern study programme combining technical knowledge with a practical approach to solving IT-related problems.
During the studies, you will learn how to design and develop modern IT systems, program applications, administer IT systems and use network and cloud technologies. You will also develop the ability to analyse technical problems and work on IT projects individually and in teams.
The core curriculum includes subjects such as mathematics, fundamentals of computer science, algorithms, data structures and engineering topics. Major-related subjects focus on programming, databases, operating systems, computer networks, software engineering and modern IT technologies.
You will also become familiar with issues related to cybersecurity, data protection, cloud computing services and mobile solutions used in modern business and organisations.
As part of the programme, you may choose one of the following modern specialisation pathways:
- Security and Continuity of IT – focused on cybersecurity, data protection, IT systems continuity and security management of IT infrastructure,
- Mobile and Cloud Computing – preparing students to work with mobile technologies, cloud solutions, modern programming environments and cloud services.
The programme also includes internships, workshops, project-based learning and classes conducted by IT industry practitioners.
