Green Travel

  1. Students eligible for study and/or internship under Erasmus + KA 131 can claim a one-time allowance of EUR 50 for travel using low-emission means of transport (e.g. bus, rail, car sharing).

  2. The basic condition for obtaining the 'green travel' payment is to travel, at least one way, by the mentioned means of transport, which is 50% of the entire trip.

  3. Persons travelling to the partner university by low-emission means of transport (e.g. bus, train, car) are required to send a signed GREEN TRAVEL statement to the university's Erasmus+ programme coordinator before signing the agreement.

  4. Students travelling by bus or train must provide the International Office with a scan of receipts/tickets confirming their journey no later than two weeks after the end of their mobility.

  5. The onetime payment of green travel allowance will be paid together with the other components of the Erasmus+ scholarship in accordance with the declaration and the regulations contained in the financial agreement (80% of the grant-after signing the agreement, 20% - after finishing the exchange program).

  6. The date on the accompanying invoice/ticket/declaration must not coincide with the date of completion of the mobility (dates in the financial agreement), nor must the journey take place more than one month (30 days) before the start of the mobility and one month (30 days) after the end of the mobility (the exception is the start / end date of the journey, which may be the same as the start / end date of the mobility).

  7. For green travel, students are entitled to receive individual support for up to 2 additional days per trip.

  8. The distance of the two-way trip will be calculated on the basis of the 'Distance calculator', where the starting point of the trip is the campus of the WSB University in Dąbrowa Górnicza, and the end point of the trip is the campus of the host university:

up to 500 km

0 days

501 km - 1999 km

If the trip is not confirmed in the above mentioned way, the student will be asked to return the amount resulting from the 'GREEN TRAVEL' scholarship (50 euro supplement plus individual support for travel costs).
