As an Erasmus student Buddy Mentor, your responsibilities can include:
- Welcoming and Orientation: Extend a warm welcome to incoming international students, helping them settle into their new environment and introducing them to the university campus.
- Cultural Integration: Assist students in adapting to the local culture and customs, offering guidance on social norms, traditions, and etiquette.
- Academic Support: Help students navigate the academic system, providing information on course registration, campus resources, and study techniques.
- Friendship and Support: Act as a reliable source of support and guidance throughout their Erasmus experience, offering assistance with practical matters, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
- Organizing Events: Plan and coordinate social and cultural activities to promote interaction between international and local students, fostering a sense of community and friendship with you being right there in the middle of it all!
- Cultural Awareness: Showcase the host country's culture through organized events, trips, and activities, promoting cross-cultural understanding and appreciation.
