The specialisation aims to prepare you for professional work in diplomacy, international communication, and relations between states and organisations.

During your studies:

• you will learn the foundations of diplomacy and mechanisms of foreign policy formation,
• you will acquire knowledge of diplomatic protocol and diplomatic practice,
• you will develop negotiation and mediation skills used in international relations,
• you will understand how international organisations and the global governance system function,
• you will learn to analyse and interpret foreign policy based on case studies,
• you will explore public diplomacy tools, strategic communication, and nation branding (soft power),
• you will develop intercultural communication competencies,
• you will learn to respond and operate in crisis situations in the international environment (crisis diplomacy).

Knowledge:

• You will gain structured knowledge of diplomacy, foreign policy, and the functioning of international organisations and the global governance system.
• You will understand diplomatic protocol, strategic communication, and cultural factors influencing international relations.
• You will be prepared to work in an international, English-speaking, and multicultural environment.
