Doctoral Seminar in Family Science

Given the fundamental role of the family in both individual lives and society, there is a continuous need for scholarly reflection on its evolving realities. As the primary social system in which human development takes place, the family requires ongoing research, especially in light of changing social and cultural conditions. Strengthening the understanding of family life, and protecting the family environment has become as essential as protecting the natural environment, due to the profound consequences that a disrupted family system can have on individuals and society as a whole.

International Doctoral Academy’s Doctoral Seminar in Family Studies explores key issues facing the contemporary family and its place in today’s world. The program is designed for those with a strong interest in this field, especially graduates of pedagogy, psychology, sociology, or law, as well as professionals with practical experience working with families, such as educators, psychologists, doctors, social workers, therapists, or legal practitioners.

The seminar aims to equip participants with academic, legal, social, and methodological competencies essential for conducting independent research and developing a doctoral dissertation under the guidance of experienced academic supervisors.
