Doctoral Seminar in International Relations
The Doctoral Seminar in International Relations is intended for individuals interested in conducting research in areas related both to sovereign state issues, such as foreign policy, national interest, power, and national security, and to the international system, including balance of power, international security, multilateralism, international organizations, diplomacy, regional integration, globalization, and transnational relations.
The program is particularly suited for those seeking a PhD as a crucial step in their academic or professional career, whether in teaching, research, or leadership roles in international institutions, diplomatic services, global businesses, public administration, or NGOs.
Participants gain research skills and interdisciplinary knowledge in political, legal, social, and economic aspects of international affairs. Under the academic and methodological guidance of experienced supervisors, they develop and complete their doctoral dissertations.
In addition to monthly seminar sessions led by recognized scholars and practitioners, WSB University offers complementary doctoral training opportunities, including specialized workshops, academic seminars, and access to national conferences.
We invite future academic educators, international experts, and aspiring leaders in global organizations to join the Doctoral Seminar in International Relations at the International Doctoral Academy.
