Scientific Clubs

What do Student Scientific Clubs do and is it worth joining them?

Student scientific clubs, depending on the university’s profile, focus on topics that interest their members—from photography, geography, and automotive studies to IT, economics, and politics.

By participating in these clubs, students can combine pleasure with usefulness. Clubs allow students to develop their passions, pursue their own ideas, and spend free time with like-minded, enthusiastic people. Contrary to appearances, university studies are not only a time of intensive learning but also a period of self-discovery and understanding the world.

Our university actively supports student scientific clubs, recognizing that involvement in them is an important first step toward a future career.

What opportunities do scientific clubs offer? Students can organize:

  • scientific conferences,
  • integration events and trips,
  • meetings with practitioners and experts,
  • their own research projects.

Through this, students develop highly valued competencies such as diligence, independence, creativity, and the ability to work under time pressure and stress. Importantly, they also gain valuable experience to include in their CVs.

An additional benefit of participation is the opportunity to receive a Special Scholarship for outstanding achievements and extracurricular activity.
