WSB University Expert Among Specialists Shaping the Future of Digitalisation in Poland

Identifying key research challenges in the field of digitalisation, advising on the allocation of European funds, and monitoring research and development projects designed to drive Poland’s digital transformation are the main tasks of the Monitoring Committee on Digitalisation, established by the National Centre for Research and Development (NCBR) as part of the “Innovative Public Procurement” project.
At the Committee’s inaugural meeting, where its operational principles, work plan, and criteria for selecting research challenges in the area of digitalisation were established, Dr. Eng. Karol Jędrasiak from WSB University participated as one of the appointed experts. The Committee acts as a guiding, advisory, and monitoring body for the Director of the Department for Innovative Management Programmes at NCBR, with particular emphasis on technologies developed under National Smart Specialisations KIS 10 and KIS 11.
Dr. Eng. Karol Jędrasiak, Deputy Director of the Technology Transfer Centre at WSB University, is an experienced researcher, educator, and manager – author of 88 scientific publications. His areas of expertise include computer vision, virtual reality, artificial intelligence tools, and information systems, and he has long combined academic work with collaboration with industry.
