XV Job and Internship Fair

Pro Civium

We invite you to complete professional internships in our organization.

We have planned two modes: standard, in which group internships last 2 months, and individual, depending on the student's time possibilities.

 

We invite students of social studies, social rehabilitation, criminology, law, management, pedagogy, journalism, IT and finance.

We offer the opportunity to participate in European and government projects, also for a fee.

 

The association operates in many areas of social life. Every day, over 50 activists and volunteers provide voluntary service to various groups, particularly those at risk of exclusion, stigmatization and deprivation of their rights. Get to know our teams and sections in detail.

EDUCATION AND PROMOTION SECTION

The section prepares educational materials for our clients incarcerated and supports their families. Prepares individual readaptation and support programs. The section cooperates with the "Never Again" Association and is responsible for relations with penitentiary units and institutional contacts. It publishes the "Pro Civium Information Bulletin" and runs the editorial office of "Tele Info Pro Civium".

LEGAL SUPPORT SECTION

Area of activity: protection of human rights, institutional interventions and the role of a social observer in criminal and civil trials. Support for inmates in penitentiary matters.

PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE ORGANIZATION SECTION

For years, it has been implementing the "Knowledge - Education - Resocialization" project, which has already benefited over five thousand university students. It supports the professional development of students and universities in this area. She is connected with many academic centers with contracts for the implementation of professional internships. Thanks to the Section, the Association has become one of the largest practitioners in the country.

SECTION FOR SUPPORTING THE PROTECTION OF WOMEN'S RIGHTS

It implements many European and own projects combating exclusion, violence and inequality of women's rights. Supports the National Federation of Non-Governmental Organizations - Women's Rights Section in pro-women activities. Participates in meetings with the Ombudsman for Children and the Ombudsman. She prepares webinars and training for women with the participation of invited specialists. She cooperates with the International Association "Brave Women". The section runs social media in Polish and Ukrainian.

PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT SECTION

It brings together psychologists, career counselors and educators who provide daily assistance to the beneficiaries of the "Education and Prevention of Stigmatization and Social Exclusion" program implemented by the Association. Currently, several dozen families benefit from the Section's support. In total, over 300 have already benefited.


There are also autonomous cells in the organization

  • Team for People with Disabilities
    It promotes events related to the care and activation of people with disabilities, participates in legislative processes, e.g. by supporting the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland and the Office of the Ombudsman. He handles the cases of people with disabilities incarcerated in prisons. Supports the Section of People with Disabilities at the National Federation of Non-Governmental Organizations.

  • Administrative Team
    Responsible for the logistic and organizational support of the Association, operation of databases and keeping registers. Obtains financial resources to implement the statutory objectives of the Association. He is also responsible for recruiting volunteers
    and promoting the volunteer movement in Poland, especially among young people. He runs a profile of our organization on the Patronate platform and in the Solidarity Corps of the National Freedom Institute.

Pro Civium also has a Committee for the Implementation and Implementation of the "Education and Support in Preventing Stigmatization and Social Exclusion of People" program, which takes care of the content of the activities of individual sections, and - at the Management Board of the Association - the Plenipotentiary for Persons Deprived of Liberty, the Ombudsman for Volunteer Affairs and the Data Protection Inspector Personal.
