By choosing the Clinical Psychology specialisation, students will gain up-to-date theoretical knowledge as well as practical skills in the diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders, including the identification of personality disorder mechanisms. With the support of a specialised academic faculty, clinical psychology is presented both as a field of scientific research and professional practice.
Special emphasis is placed on mastering methods used in clinical psychological diagnosis, as well as acquiring knowledge in the areas of health promotion, mental health prevention, and psychotherapy.
Throughout the course of study, students will develop practical skills in neuropsychological assessment, psychosexology, crisis intervention, and psychological support in various types of crises.
They will also explore major schools of psychotherapy and begin developing essential therapeutic competencies for working directly with patients.
