Access to University platforms

All students who finished their admission process and who signed the Learning Agreement and the Official Decision receive access to their personal online portal where they have access to their schedule and other important information, such as the state of their payments, list of professors and how to reach them, books listed from the Academic Library and others.

In addition to that all students receive their own student email powered by Outlook. The instructions on how to log in to the mentioned portals will be available below. 

  • Dear Students,

    We would like to inform you that in order to improve the educational process at WSB University, an individual email address @student.wsb.edu.pl has been
    created for you.
    This email address is required in order to take part in online classes which will be partially conducted online via MS Teams.
    From now on your new university email will be used for communication with teachers and university staff. Starting from 1st October, students' private email addresses will no longer be used for any university-related issues.

    In order to activate your email account, please follow the INSTRUCTION provided.

    Your new email address will be: name.surname@student.wsb.edu.pl

    Your first password which you need to use for the first login is: AkademiaYYMMDD (where Y- year Mmonth D-day of your birth date eg. Akademia860901 for a student who was born on 01.09.1986)

    By using Microsoft Office365 account you will have access to:

    - Word, Excel, and Powerpoint online application
    - online Outlook mailbox with the capacity of 50GB
    - Microsoft Teams – application for teamwork and audio / video meetings
    - Microsoft Onenote – a digital notebook
    - 1TB cloud drive for files and documents

    Minimum requirements for MS Teams:

    Processor minimum of 1.6 GHz (32-bit or 64-bit).
    Memory RAM 2.0 GB RAM
    Disc space 3.0 GB
    Resolution 1024 x 768
    Graphics minimum of 128 MB memory
    For comfortable use of video calls, Microsoft requires: Dual-core processor> 2.0Ghz 4.0 GB RAM memory
    Operational systems: Windows Server 2012 R2+ or the latest version and Windows 10 or Windows 8.1
    (32-bit and 64-bit).

    1. Go to https://www.office.com/ to log into your account.
    2. Click on „Log in” [„Zaloguj się”]. The login window will be displayed. Type your WSB University email address: name.surname@student.wsb.edu.pl
      [imie.nazwisko@student.wsb.edu.pl]. Do not use any special symbols in your name and surname (like ą,ę,ó).
    3. Then click on „Next” [„Dalej”]. When you log in for the first time, you will be asked to change your password. Make sure to create a strong password in order to keep your account safe! 
    4. After logging in, you will be asked to choose the account recovery method. Please do so.
    5. Afterwards, you may choose between two methods of authentication: by phone or additional email address. After you provide the phone number or email address, Microsoft will send you a verification code (via text message or email, depending on the method selected). Type in the code received and click on “Verify” [“Weryfikuj”].
    6. When the code is verified, the system logs the user in. Your email address or phone number will be used in case you need to reset the password to Office365.
    7. After logging in you will see the whole desktop of Office 365 (see picture below). On the left you will find the application menu.
