At WSB University, we fully understand the importance of financial security in today’s world. Therefore, from the very first semester, we offer a s Maintenance Grant to students in the most challenging financial situations.
The maximum income threshold entitling a student to receive the Maintenance Grant is 1908,90 PLN net per person in the family.
Who Can Apply?
Students enrolled in a first-cycle (Bachelor's), second-cycle (Master's), or long-cycle Master's degree program may apply for the Maintenance Grant.
The rules apply to the holders of degrees awarded abroad.
Foreign students who can apply for a maintenance grant :
- hold a permanent residence permit or are long-term residents of the EU;
- hold a temporary residence permit in connection with the circumstances referred to in Article 159.1 or Article 1861 point 3 or 4 of the Act on Foreigners;
- have refugee status awarded in the Republic of Poland or enjoy temporary protection or subsidiary protection on the territory of the Republic of Poland;
- have a certificate confirming their knowledge of Polish as a foreign language – C1 language proficiency level or higher;
- have a Pole’s Card or a decision confirming Polish descent;
- are the spouse, ascendant or descendant of a citizen of the Republic of Poland, living on the territory of the Republic of Poland.
Important Notice:
Students are required to promptly inform the university of any changes in their financial or family situation (such as change of employment, gaining or losing a job, or change in the number of family members) that may affect the family’s income. Failure to report such changes that impact the amount or eligibility for the Maintenance Grant will result in the scholarship being considered unduly received and subject to repayment.
In accordance with the Regulations for the Granting of Benefits for Students of the WSB University of October 01, 2024. § 26 point 3 If the student submits documents in a language other than Polish, it is required to submit a translation by a sworn translator.
