Students took an active part in the 2nd Interdisciplinary Conference of Student Scientific Societies; Tobiasz Imiołczyk and Hanna Łazarczyk presented a presentation entitled “Genomics in practice: how to use databases to create scientific publications.” (14.03.2025)
Student Scientific Society of Anatomy
EVENTS
As part of the Student Scientific Society of Anatomy, students, under the supervision of a lecturer and a prosector, were involved in the preparation of anatomical models in the dissection room for scientific and research purposes.
CONFERENCES
As part of volunteer activities, students participated in the “Canada Ukraine Surgical Aid Program” organized by the Clinical Hospital in Czeladź, where they were engaged in translating documents from English into Polish for medical personnel from Ukraine. Moreover, they took an active part in the opening of the Clinical Hospital in Czeladź (01.10.2024).
Student Scientific Society of Cosmetology
RESEARCH
Students participated in a scientific study entitled “The impact of remote tests in the form of a mobile application on reducing scratching and its complications in patients with pruritus,” which was funded under the ministerial project Student scientific societies create innovations.
Students took part in literature analysis, the formulation of questionnaires, and testing of a mobile application. They recruited participants, conducted interviews, and monitored compliance with completing the tests. Finally, they performed statistical data analysis, interpreted the results, and co-authored reports. (29.05.2024 – 03.2025)
CONFERENCES
In March 2025, students participated in the 4th Scientific Conference Aesthetic Cosmetology of the Future (01.03.2025).
Students took an active part in the 2nd Interdisciplinary Conference of Student Scientific Societies, where they presented the results of research conducted as part of a project funded by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, including Karolina Bałdys with the presentation entitled “The impact of remote tests in the form of a mobile application on reducing scratching and its complications in patients with pruritus.” (14.03.2025)
