Admissions Process

Application deadline for the 2025/2026 academic year: June 1, 2025, to August 22, 2025.

 

"Implementation Doctorate": application deadline will be announced after the Ministry of Science and Higher Education announces the program.

Required documents:

1. candidate information sheet,

2. application to the Head of the Doctoral School,

3. copy of the master's degree diploma,

4. document confirming foreign language proficiency at a minimum level of B2; (A document confirming knowledge of a foreign language or obtaining a positive grade on the doctoral examination in a foreign language will be required no later than before the initiation of the degree awarding process.)

5. A CV detailing professional and academic work history

6. A research outline

7. For candidates applying to the "Implementation Doctorate" program – a document confirming that the candidate is or will be employed full-time by the entity where the research related to the doctorate will be conducted, along with the consent of that entity to education at the Doctoral School, and a declaration of compliance with the requirements of the "Implementation Doctorate" program.

8. One photograph compliant with the requirements for issuing ID cards;

Implementation Doctorate

The WSB University, as part of the Doctoral School, implements an implementation doctorate program, thus developing the University's cooperation with the socio-economic environment. The program provides doctoral students with training in collaboration with the companies that employ them, as well as support in preparing their doctoral dissertations, the results of which will be applicable to the company's activities and improve its operations.

 

Program participation requirements:

·        Full-time employment under an employment contract for the duration of the program by an entity that consents to their education at the Doctoral School of WSB University.

·        The supervisor and the assistant supervisor will supervise the doctoral dissertation.

·        The entity employing the candidate is required to appoint an assistant supervisor from among its employees to monitor the progress of the doctoral dissertation.

The assistant supervisor from the company may be a person with: a doctoral degree or at least five years of experience in research and development, or significant achievements in the development and implementation of an original design, construction, technological, or artistic solution in the economic or social sphere, with a supra-local scope and a lasting and universal character.
