Internationalization strategy

WSB University Internationalization Strategy 2021–2025 (with outlook to 2030)

WSB University aims to be a leader in internationalization among Polish higher education institutions, creating a truly global campus where students, staff and partners learn, research and collaborate across borders.

Key priorities of the strategy:

Internationalization of education

  • Expanding and continuously updating study programmes in English at all levels (BA, MA, PhD, MBA) in fields such as Management, Computer Science, International Relations, and Engineering.
  • Embedding global perspectives, digital skills, sustainability, and intercultural competences into curricula.
  • Developing joint, double and multi-degree programmes with accredited international partners.

Diverse and growing international community

  • Increasing the number and geographic diversity of international students and staff.
  • Strengthening recruitment in Central Asia, the Caucasus, North Africa, Asia, Latin America, and Southern Europe.
  • Supporting international students through dedicated services, integration events, and “internationalization at home” initiatives.

Global visibility and recognition

  • Active participation in international rankings and accreditations (e.g. CEEMAN IQA, KAUT, EFMD, AMBA, BSIS).
  • Membership in leading international associations and networks and organization of flagship events such as Internationalization Forum, International Staff Week, Diversity Hub and Awareness Days.

Academic mobility and partnerships

  • Expanding Erasmus+ and other mobility schemes, bilateral agreements, internships abroad, summer schools, and COIL/virtual mobility.
  • Building long-term cooperation with universities, companies, and NGOs worldwide.

International research and innovation

  • Engaging in international projects (e.g. Horizon Europe, NAWA, Erasmus+, COST, Interreg).
  • Increasing publications in high-impact international journals and co-authored research with foreign partners.
