The CRUSH 2026 Grand Finale!
We are thrilled to announce the successful conclusion of the CReative University Sustainability Hub 2026 (CRUSH 2026). Over several intensive days, students from across the globe collaborated to prove that business innovation and environmental responsibility go hand in hand.
The Winners:
The top prize went to CIRCULAR X, a diverse team of students representing Poland, Slovakia, Ukraine, Albania, Rwanda, and Turkey.
The Project: A comprehensive system designed to give electronics a "second life" by recovering damaged or unused devices and reintroducing them into the market.
The Motto: “From idle devices to active value.”
Impact on Global Goals
The winning concept directly addresses the UN Sustainable Development Goals:
By focusing on reducing e-waste and promoting circular economy practices, CIRCULAR X showcased a scalable model for a more sustainable future.
About the Project
CRUSH 2026 was part of the "GETTIN IN CRUSH WITH WSBU – MORE THAN JUST A STUDY" initiative, funded by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) under the Welcome to Poland program.
The event demonstrated that when international talent meets expert mentoring (from institutions like Rotterdam, Eindhoven, and Porto), the results are truly world-changing.
