How to Apply – Step by Step
Below you will find a complete guide for your admission into WSBU. Make sure to follow the steps presented in order to make your enrolment as fast and as easy as possible.

In order to begin your admission process kindly collect the following documents:
1. International PassportA valid international travel document.2. Education DocumentsHigh School Diploma / Attestat or College Diploma (BA).
BA or MA Diploma with transcript (MA).3. Sworn TranslationTranslation into English or Polish by a sworn translator.4. Validation CertificateRequired for BA applicants.
Admissions page5. Recognition DecisionKuratorium Oświaty or NAWA (SYRENA platform).6. Apostille / LegalisationDepending on country of origin. More info on this can be obtain from the link above.7. Passport PhotoRecent passport-size photo.
After gathering all of these documents please proceed to step two.

Please follow the instructions below in order to successfully finish your online application. It is preferred to do the registration via a PC or Laptop while using Google Chrome as your browser. Please note that only one application per candidate is accepted. Several applications will not enhance your chances of admission!
Application to WSB University is done only via our official website wsb.edu.pl/en by clicking Admissions and then by choosing the language of your studies. Those can be either English, Polish, Ukrainian or Russian. Afterwards kindly chose your field of interest.
Please remember that no other platforms are available for our international students. Application via admissions.wsb.edu.pl is no longer supported and applicants who created profiles there will not be taken into consideration.
Now it’s time to register on our official website.
Step-by-step registration guide
1. Start applicationGo to wsb.edu.pl/en and choose Admissions.
Select your study language:
Study in English
Study in Polish
Study in Ukrainian2. Choose programSelect your field of study from the available program list.3. Online registrationReview payment information first, then click Apply and complete the form:
• Name
• Surname
• E-mail
• Phone number
⚠ Name must match your passport.
⚠ Email must be active and frequently checked.
⚠ Phone must include country code (e.g. +48 777 666 555).
Accept GDPR and submit the form.
Login details will be sent within 72 hours. Check inbox and spam folder.4. Activate accountUse the email link to log in and activate your profile.5. Personal detailsFill in all required fields carefully.
• Foreign applicants: select “Jestem Obcokrajowcem”
• Agency applicants: add agency name in recruiter field
• Independent applicants: enter emergency contact
• “Pochodzenie”: enter nationality if different from birth country6. Upload photoUpload a passport-style photo with white background.
It will be used for your student ID.7. Address detailsProvide your current residence address.

• In Poland → current local address8. Upload documentsYou are almost done! Now it is time to upload your documents.
Procedure:
1. Go to 'My registrations' and click 'Prints'.
2. Upload all documents into the correct fields.
Please make sure that:
• All files are in PDF format
• Documents are clearly readable

The Interview is an integral part of the application process and is a decisive factor of your acceptance. It usually takes no more than 15-20 minutes and is conducted via Zoom. Please remember that the platform has to be under your name and surname. Aka your profile on Zoom has to have your credentials in order to be accepted.
The interview will be conducted via Video Call and for it we ask you to be in a quiet room with good internet connection. Earphones or headphones are required in order to have the best sound quality and to hear the questions asked by the interviewer.
Any help from others (such as friends and/or family) will result in immediate disqualification and it will not be permitted to have the interview again.
The interview will focus on the following qualities of the candidates:
- Erudition;
- General knowledge;
- Character and personality;
- Experience, both academic and professional;
- Other.
The general questions may include:
- Date of birth;
- Your hobbies, likes and dislikes;
- Your plans for the future;
- Previous experience, if any, in the chosen field, etc.
The interviewer will also confirm whether the candidate is eligible for studies in term of language proficiency. Please remember that Grammar, Speaking and Vocabulary will be checked during the short conversation. The minimum level needed for acceptance to WSBU is B2. Your results will be mailed to you in the next several working days. Please be patient while your application is being analysed for the last time.
If your application did not pass the previously mentioned steps then this will be the end of your process.
All candidates have the right to rebuke the official decision, for that please write to your admission officer.

Congratulations! You’re almost done with your enrolment at WSBU.
Below is a clear roadmap of the next steps to complete your admission process smoothly.Take your time to follow each step carefully. All documents must be submitted correctly to finalize your enrolment without delays. Use this guide as your companion throughout the process.

1. PaymentAfter a successful interview you will receive an official invoice for payment.
Use it to pay via your local bank or mobile banking app.
Please follow all instructions on the invoice carefully.2. Upload proof of paymentUpload your payment confirmation (bank receipt) in your admission profile.
Send it also to your admission officer and include your application ID.3. Dean’s Office procedureYour documents will be forwarded to the Dean’s Office.
Processing time: 10–14 working days.
After approval you will receive:
• Draft Learning Agreement
• Official Decision
Print, sign, and send scanned copies back.
To check status, contact the Dean’s Office via the designated portal.4. Letters of acceptance (visa documents)Documents will be prepared within 7–10 working days after receiving signed agreements.
You will receive scans first — please check carefully for errors.
If correct, confirm and provide your full postal address including:
• Name and surname
• Flat number
• House number
• City
• Province
• Country
• ZIP code
• Phone number
Letters will be sent via DHL. Address must be written in English without special characters.5. Visa applicationApply for a Polish National Visa at your local consulate.
Please keep the following original documents safe (do not submit originals):
• Diploma and translation
• Validation certificate
• Insurance
Only copies should be submitted. Originals will be required upon arrival in Poland.Now you can obtain your Insurance. Make sure to check the requirements of the Polish Embassy regarding this document. After securing it please do not forget to upload it into the system as well!If you have followed the instructions provided above you should have a full set of needed documents for your National Visa application.In case of subsequent Visa refusal please contact your admission officer for further support and consult.Good luck! If you are here it means you have successfully received your Visa, congratulations! Your final step would be your arrival to Poland and finalisation of your WSBU application.
Final Steps:
1. Travel to PolandAfter receiving your national visa, you can book your tickets to Poland.
Once your travel is confirmed, notify your admission officer about your arrival dates.2. Accommodation (optional)If you plan to stay in a WSB dormitory, contact your mentor to check availability.
Please note:
Accommodation can only be reserved after visa approval and confirmed arrival date.3. Travel preparationBefore departure, make sure you have all original documents and a physical passport-size photo for your student ID.
Double-check everything carefully — missing documents may prevent full registration and student status activation.4. Arrival & registration in PolandAfter arrival, you must report to campus within 7 days to complete registration and legalisation of stay.
