The inaugural meeting of the EQUATION consortium was held in Bled, Slovenia. Led by CEEMAN – the International Association for Management Development, EQUATION is an ambitious Erasmus+ funded initiative focused on promoting gender equality in universities and examining the role of accreditation agencies in this process.
During the event, CEEMAN strengthened its collaboration with partner institutions, including IEDC-Bled School of Management, Vistula University, WSB University, and Riga Technical University. Participants established a framework for cooperation, outlining task distribution and a structured timeline to guide the program’s implementation over the next two years.
The EQUATION project aims to create equal opportunities for women and men in higher education, particularly within management and business schools. To achieve this, it focuses on developing tools and training programs for universities, accreditation bodies, and their staff, equipping them with the necessary resources to actively reduce gender disparities. These efforts are expected to drive lasting cultural and institutional change, fostering a more inclusive academic environment.
