After Meetings in Jakarta
From Indonesia to WSB University: Building Connections with Future International Students
In June 2026, WSB University visited Indonesia as part of its international activities aimed at promoting study opportunities in Poland and building direct relationships with prospective students and educational partners.
One of the main highlights of the visit was the Jakarta Information Event – Study Abroad Meet-up for Candidates and Parents, held on 6 June 2026. The meeting brought together prospective students, parents, and people interested in learning more about international education and the opportunities offered by WSB University.
During the event, participants had an opportunity to meet WSB University representatives in person and receive practical information about English-taught study programmes, admission requirements, application procedures, tuition fees, living costs, scholarships, and student support.
The meeting was designed to provide candidates and their families with clear and reliable information about studying in Poland. Participants received step-by-step guidance on the application process, required documents and timelines, as well as information about the support available to international students before and after their arrival in Poland.
An important part of the programme was a sample lecture, which allowed participants to experience WSB University’s practical and interactive approach to teaching. The event concluded with an open Q&A session, providing candidates and parents with an opportunity to discuss their individual questions directly with university representatives.
The visit to Indonesia went beyond the main information event. The WSB University team also visited local schools, where meetings with students provided an opportunity to present Poland as a study destination and introduce the educational opportunities available at WSB University. Direct conversations with young people made it possible to answer their questions about studying abroad, choosing a programme, the admissions process, and student life in Poland.
Another important point of the programme was a visit to YARSI University in Jakarta. WSB University representatives met with the university authorities to discuss opportunities for academic and international cooperation. The visit also included a meeting with YARSI University students, creating a space for direct exchange, discussion about international education, and presentation of study and mobility opportunities.
During the visit, a podcast was also recorded, providing another opportunity to talk about WSB University, international education, studying in Poland, and the growing importance of cooperation between universities in Poland and Indonesia. The conversation helped reach a wider audience and share the university’s international perspective beyond the participants attending the meetings in person.
The meetings in Jakarta demonstrated the strong interest of Indonesian students in international education and confirmed the value of direct contact with candidates, their families, schools, and higher education institutions. They also created new opportunities for developing long-term academic relationships between WSB University and partners in Indonesia.
We would like to sincerely thank all students, parents, school representatives, and university partners who participated in the meetings and contributed to the success of the visit. Special thanks go to YARSI University for the warm welcome and valuable discussions with both university representatives and students.
We also express our gratitude to the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) for financing the activities. Its support made it possible to promote Polish higher education, strengthen the international visibility of WSB University, and establish direct relationships with prospective students and educational partners in Indonesia.
We look forward to welcoming future students from Indonesia at WSB University and to further developing academic cooperation between Poland and Indonesia.
