WSB University in Manila: Inspiring Students to Begin Their Study Journey in Poland
On 3 May 2026, WSB University held the Manila Information Event – Study Abroad Meet-up for Students and Parents at Dusit Thani Manila. The event brought together prospective students, parents, and everyone interested in exploring international study opportunities and learning more about studying in Poland.
The meeting was a great success and attracted strong interest from participants who were looking for reliable, practical, and direct information about studying abroad. It was an excellent opportunity to meet the WSB University team in person, discover English-taught study programmes, and better understand the admission process, tuition fees, living costs, scholarship opportunities, and student support services.
The Manila Information Event was accompanied by a series of additional meetings and institutional visits before and after the main event. The WSB University team visited higher education institutions, including Ateneo de Manila University, and met with representatives of high schools to discuss international education opportunities, possible areas of cooperation, and the growing interest of Filipino students in studying abroad. These meetings helped strengthen academic relations and created new opportunities for direct dialogue with educational partners in the Philippines.
During the event, participants received step-by-step guidance on how to apply to WSB University, including information about required documents, timelines, and the key stages of the admission process. The university team also presented how WSB University supports international students from the very beginning of their academic journey - including arrival assistance, onboarding, adaptation support, academic guidance, and wellbeing services.
An important part of the programme was a sample lecture and practical workshops for participants, which allowed them to experience WSB University’s teaching approach and take part in interactive learning activities. The open Q and A session created space for candidates and parents to ask questions directly and receive clear answers from university representatives.
We would like to sincerely thank all participants for joining us in Manila, for their active involvement, thoughtful questions, and inspiring conversations. We also extend our thanks to the representatives of universities and high schools who met with us and supported the promotion of international education opportunities.
We also express our gratitude to the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) for financing the meeting under the Welcome to Poland programme, which made it possible to promote Polish higher education and build direct relations with prospective students and educational partners in the Philippines.
We are delighted that so many young people in the Philippines are considering WSB University as the place to begin their international academic journey. We look forward to welcoming candidates in the new academic year and warmly invite them to apply for our English-taught programmes.
