InterUni 2026
InterUni 2026 – Forum for Internationalization of Higher Education
13-15 of October 2026 (followed by Campus Experience on 16th of October - optional)
Since 2017, InterUni Forum for Internationalization has brought together academics, administrators, policymakers and international partners to address the most pressing challenges and opportunities of internationalizing higher education. Organized by WSB University, the forum has grown into a recognized national and international platform for dialogue between universities, experts and practitioners working to build more open, globally connected academic communities.
In 2026, InterUni will focus entirely on one central question: how does the changing paradigm of teaching and learning reshape the way we build internationalization?
As higher education adapts to new technologies, evolving student expectations and shifting global mobility patterns, the role of teaching excellence has never been more central to internationalization strategy. This edition of InterUni will explore how innovative, high-quality teaching - across cultures, languages and delivery modes - becomes the foundation on which truly international universities are built.
We invite participants to reflect together on questions such as:
- How is the definition of "teaching excellence" evolving in an internationalized academic environment?
- What pedagogical models best support diverse, multicultural classrooms?
- How can digital tools, COIL and blended formats strengthen international teaching collaboration?
- What role do faculty development, intercultural competence and language policy play in sustaining internationalization?
- How can institutions measure and reward excellence in international teaching?
Across keynote sessions, panel discussions, workshops and institutional case studies, InterUni 2026 will bring together voices from partner universities, the Q-Helix European University Alliance and international education experts to jointly map out practical pathways for building internationalization through excellence in teaching.
This year's forum continues WSB University's tradition of creating a genuine space for dialogue - not only among university staff and decision-makers, but also students, who remain at the heart of every internationalization effort.
Save the date and join us for InterUni 2026 as we explore, together, how teaching excellence can drive the next chapter of internationalization in higher education.
Detailed program, speakers and registration details will follow soon - stay tuned.
