Kick-off meeting - 03.12.2024

The kick-off meeting for the Erasmus+ project Girls4Economy involving partners from Poland, The Czech Republic, Romania, and Lithuania was held on 3rd December 2024. The objective is to develop methodologies and tools to improve the network and socio-digital competencies of young girls aged 13-18.

The project will last for 24 months and is divided into several stages, including:

  • Development of methodologies and tools.
  • Training for trainers and volunteers.
  • Pilot actions in each partner country.
  • A final conference to present the best practices and outcomes.

Each project partner will contribute to different aspects of the project, with specific roles assigned to ensure a collaborative approach. There was a discussion around identifying the competencies needed for the target group. It was suggested to conduct preliminary research on current trends and to involve educators and young girls in the planning process.

Overall, the meeting set a collaborative tone for the project, emphasising the importance of communication, research, and shared responsibilities among all participants.
