XII International Conference “Security of the Republic of Poland in the National and International Dimension”

On 2-3 December 2025, the RESCUER project was represented at the XII International Conference “Security of the Republic of Poland in the National and International Dimension”, held in Kielce, Poland. The event focused on contemporary security architecture and brought together researchers, policymakers, and practitioners from Poland and abroad.

As part of Panel 2: Education for Security and the Development of Social Resilience, Prof. Ryszard Szynowski from Akademia WSB delivered a presentation addressing the role of international and cross-border projects in strengthening social security. In his talk, he highlighted selected outcomes and experiences from the RESCUER project, emphasizing how innovative educational tools and technology-driven solutions can enhance safety awareness and resilience in regions exposed to environmental and tourism-related risks.

The presentation showcased RESCUER as an example of a multidisciplinary initiative combining education, technology, and public safety. Particular attention was given to the use of modern digital solutions-including immersive and interactive training approaches-to support inclusive education, risk prevention, and preparedness in the context of mountain tourism and rescue operations.

Participation in the conference provided an important platform for disseminating RESCUER project results among experts in national and international security, education for safety, and social resilience. It also strengthened dialogue on the role of academic cooperation and innovative projects in addressing contemporary security challenges.
