Conference topics
The conference is addressed to researchers and practitioners who investigate different aspects of territorial and inter-organisational cooperation in local, regional, cross-border, and international dimensions. The event is characterised by its interdisciplinary approach, arising from the formulation of multi-perspective scientific problems and the development of innovative solutions.
The conference’s main aim is to facilitate networking based on the Quintuple Helix Model, thereby fostering international, interdisciplinary scientific teams working together on emerging scientific challenges.
The conference addresses contemporary challenges faced by public, commercial and social entities, primarily related to the following topics:
- Public & territorial governance
- Project management
- Sustainable knowledge & innovation management
- Inter-organisational and territorial cooperation, including cross-border, inter-regional and international cooperation, clusters and networks
- SDGs implementation
- Sustainable planning & development
- Sustainable culture & tourism management
- Accessibility and connectivity of transport systems
- Energy transition, renewable energies, circular and green economy
- Migratory fluxes - strategies, management and planning
The conference will cover the topics through 34 speeches, including keynote speeches and other presentations in the plenary and thematic sessions, roundtable debates, a session for students and PhD students, and a poster session, as well as networking within the International Research Group on Territorial & Inter-Organisational Cooperation.
Preliminary, but not exclusively, the following thematic sessions and round-table debates are planned:
- Towards sustainable intergovernmental cooperation – innovative models and approaches
- Inter-organisational cooperation addressing contemporary social and technological challenges - Quintuple Helix Model approach
- Smart specialisations as drivers of the multidimensional innovativeness of regions 4. Territorial cooperation in borderlands – novelties in legal, political and financial dimensions
- Sustainable development in territorial cooperation - an innovative approach
- Building territorial and organisational resilience through green and sustainable business models, strategies and projects
A poster session and a session for students and PhD students will be interdisciplinary, covering the fields of business administration, public governance and international relations.
