Meeting Summary – Pilot Project Progress and Organisational Updates

The meeting focused primarily on updates regarding the pilot projects, overall progress, and organisational matters. Participants reported that the pilots are generally progressing well, with teachers and students engaged and satisfied. In Lithuania, one school actively uses both the provided materials and additional resources, while another focuses mainly on the project idea. In Romania, five groups are actively working on their projects, with some already developing websites and demonstrating strong engagement. No major issues were reported, and all participants expressed confidence that the projects will be completed on time.

A discussion was held on the expected final outputs of the pilot projects. It was agreed that students should present a clear project concept, a structured plan, and a tangible result, preferably in the form of a prototype (e.g., a website, document, or partial product). Full completion is not required in case of complicated and complex projects; instead, an approximately 80% developed outcome is considered sufficient. Additionally, strong emphasis was placed on providing evidence of online collaboration, such as screenshots, logs, or photos documenting virtual teamwork.

The group also discussed how results should be presented during the final conference. Presentations should be short, focusing on both the final product and the collaborative process, with a balanced emphasis on outcomes and evidence of online cooperation.

Administrative matters included approval of the certificate template, with a note to update the logo and collect students’ names for issuance. Participants were reminded to prepare localized versions of the teacher’s manual. Future documentation will also include certificates confirming project implementation by participating institutions.

Regarding the upcoming conference, logistical arrangements such as accommodation (likely student dormitories) and a potential museum visit were discussed. Some concerns were raised about selecting a limited number of student participants.

The meeting concluded with the agreement that the next meeting will take place on May 11 at 12:30.
