Edward Hadas jest pracownikiem naukowym University of Oxford, zajmującym się ekonomią i finansami moralnymi oraz katolicką nauką społeczną. Jest niezależnym dziennikarzem i analitykiem finansowym. Przez kilka lat był redaktorem ds. ekonomicznych w Reuters Breakingviews oraz felietonistą w Reuters.com, gdzie w 2013 roku otrzymał nagrodę Reportera Roku za komentarze i analizy. Wcześniej był asystentem redaktora kolumny komentarzy i analiz Lex w Financial Times oraz asystentem redaktora w Breakingviews. Edward Hadas is a fellow research at the University of Oxford, working on economics and moral finance and Catholic social teaching. He is a freelance journalist and financial analyst. He was economics editor at Reuters Breakingviews for several years and a columnist at Reuters.com, where he won the Reporter of the Year award in 2013 for his commentary and analysis. He was previously assistant editor of the commentary and analysis column at the Lex Financial Times and assistant editor at Breakingviews. Edward won the Business Journalist of the Year Award for economics 2009 and has also taught political and social philosophy at Maryvale Institute in Birmingham, UK. Before becoming a journalist in 2004, he worked for 25 years as a financial analyst for various companies, including Morgan Stanley and Putnam Investments. He holds degrees in philosophy, classics and mathematics from Oxford University and Columbia University and an MBA from SUNY Binghamton.
