Dr Anca C. Yallop

Anca C. Yallop

Dr Anca C. Yallop is Senior Lecturer in Business Strategy and Interim Deputy Head of Department of International Business, Strategy & Entrepreneurship at the AUT Business School, Auckland University of Technology, New Zealand. She holds a PhD in Marketing (Romania) and a second PhD in Marketing Research Ethics (AUT), New Zealand. Prior to her appointment at AUT, Anca was at the Winchester Business School, University of Winchester, UK. Anca specializes in insight management, data ethics, and business strategy. She has over a decade of teaching experience in higher education and several years' experience working in marketing and research roles in organisations across a diverse range of sectors internationally.  Her programme of research lies at the intersection of responsible and ethical management and strategic business insights, applied to different context and sectors.  Her research appeared in leading journals including International Journal of Market Research; Journal of Consumer Marketing; Leisure Studies; Journal of Information, Communication and Ethics in Society; Online Information Review; World Leisure Journal; International Journal of Culture, Tourism and Hospitality Research. Anca was a guest editor for a special issue on 'Market Research History' of the International Journal of Market Research and serves on the editorial review board of the same journal. She is also the recipient of the 2020 Emerald Literati Outstanding Paper Award and the 2020 Reviewer of the Year Award for the International Journal of Market Research.

 

 MICHAŁ Szymanski

Michal Szymanski

Dr. Michal Szymanski  - received his PhD in International Management and Organisation from the University of Victoria (Canada). He worked as lecturer at the Peter B. Gustavson School of Business (Canada) from 2014-17 and then as a research professor of International Business at EGADE Business School (Mexico). Mike teaches courses related to strategic management, international business, and cross-cultural management at all levels of education (MBA, Master’s, undergrad, PhD).

Dr. Szymanski's research is at the confluence of international business, global leadership, and strategic management. The ultimate goal of his research is to understand how organisations can take full advantage of multilinguals and multiculturals and how these individuals can leverage their strengths in an organizational setting. Mike is also interested in the effects of digital transformation and new forms of teamwork on organisational structures. His research has been published in the International Business Review, the European Journal of International Management, the Thunderbird International Business Review, the Multinational Business Review, Advances in Global Leadership, and Critical Perspectives on International Business. In 2020, Mike was awarded the Alan M. Rugman Young Scholar Award by the Academy of International Business for his study on the role of linguistic diversity and boundary spanners in multicultural teams in MNCs in Latin America. He is an active member of the GLOBE 2020 project, leading data collection in Poland, Mexico, and Russia. Mike is Senior Editor at the European Journal of International Management (EJIM) and Associate Editor at Forum Scientiae Oeconomia. He is also Editorial Board Member at the Journal of Eastern European and Central Asian Research (JEECAR) and Member of Board of Directors at GEM&L. Before joining academia, Mike worked in strategic management consulting (PwC and Boston Consulting Group)

 

 

Günter Hofbauer  

Günter Hofbauer

Günter Hofbauer is professor at Technical University Ingolstadt, Germany. He is also a regular visiting professor at California State University, Los Angeles, USA and at Shenzhen Technical University, China. He holds Ph.D. and diploma degrees from the University of Regensburg, Germany, and he completed an executive study program at Darden University, University of Virginia, USA. His research focuses on innovation and transaction processes in sales and procurement as well as the digitalisation of these processes. Especially the automotive industry and related business eco systems are of particular interest. He is the author, co-author and editor of 71 monographs and editorial books, and has authored more than 70 scientific articles. He has read more than 45 conference contributions in national and international conferences and is a member of nine editorial and scientific boards. Currently he is vice president of the European Research and Working Association and was president of the German Association of Marketing from 2009 until 2017. He was awarded the Bavarian State Prize for outstanding lecturing and further on the prize for excellence in executive teaching of the European Institute of Postgraduate Studies, an institute of the Technical University of Dresden, Germany. He was previously employed in different managerial and executive positions in the electronic and automotive industry.

 

 Kiminori Gemba

Kiminori Gemba

Kiminori Gemba is director and professor at the Business School of Innovation Management at Hosei University. His research interests are innovation theories and strategic management. He received master's degree at engineering from the University of Tokyo and joined the research division of Sanwa Research Institute and his research focused on environmental management and new industry creation. He received Ph.D. from the University of Tokyo. He became a research associate and an associate professor at the University of Tokyo and a professor at Ritsumeikan University. For many years, he serves on the board of directors of several academic associations and journals. From 2009 to 2010 he was a visiting scholar at Asia Pacific Research Center of Stanford University.

 

 

 Adnan ul Haque

Adnan ul Haque

Dr. Adnan ul Haque holds a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) in Organizational Behaviour from the University of Wales Trinity Saint David, United Kingdom. He specializes in gender related occupational stress through a cultural lens. He received Best PG Research Student Award from University of Sunderland, London in MBA-HRM, distinction in PGD in Business and Management, ATHE, London and diploma in Research and Leadership, University of Copenhagen, Denmark. He earned his Management and Sciences distinctions at Public Administration Department for his MPA in HRM and his BPA (Hons) from the University of Karachi.  
Dr. Haque has been a business and management lecturer, keynote presenter, guest editor and a speaker for last 15 years. He has been a Corporate Trainer for Stress Management and Professional Development at MNCs and HR consultant for IT and Logistic firms in the UK, Canada, and Pakistan. His research interest includes organizational behaviour, human resources management, Industry 4.0, knowledge hiding, occupational stress, supply chain management, innovative work behaviour, and leadership styles.
