Fabio Garzia is professor of various subjects relating to security for the Engineering Master's program on Safety, Security and Civil Protection Engineering at SAPIENZA - University of Rome (Italy), as well as various other Master's and PhD programs at the same and other Universities, both in Italy and abroad.

Member of European Academy of Sciences and Arts (Salzburg, Austria).
Member of Academic Council of Moravian University College Olomouc (Czech Republic).
Author of about 130 scientific papers on international journals and international and national conferences, reviewer for different international scientific journals.
Author or Editor of 20 different books regarding security, both in Italian and English languages.
Member of Scientific Committee of different international conferences and co-Founder and co-Chairman of series of conferences ‘Safety & Security Engineering’.

Natanya Meyer

Dr. Natanya Meyer commenced her career as lecturer at North West University (South Africa) in 2012, in the former Faculty of Economic Sciences and Information Technology.

She completed her B. Com and Honours degrees in Economics and Risk Management and thereafter her Master’s degree in Development and Management all at the NWU. Prior to joining NWU she owned and managed three successful businesses highlighting her passion for entrepreneurship. Apart from her responsibilities as a senior lecturer in the new Faculty of Economic and Management Sciences (FEMS), she also serves as guardian to the Young Entrepreneurs Business Organisation (YEBO) student society on the Vaal campus, executive member of the Golden Triangle Chamber of Commerce (GTCOC) and as a community of practice member in the Entrepreneurship Development in Higher Education (EDHE) initiative launched by the Department of Higher Education (DHE) in 2017. She enjoys research and has so far published more than 30 peer reviewed articles in national and international journals and conference proceedings as a sole and co-author respectively. Her research focuses on entrepreneurial and economic related topics with a focus on females, youth and the enabling environment. She is a reviewer for several national and international journals and has collaboration links with various Asian and east European universities.

Daniel F. Meyer

Professor Daniel F. Meyer, PhD joined the North West University (South Africa) in 2010, and is currently the programme leader in research in the School of Economic Science. Before he joined the university he was a specialist consultant and senior manager at government with a focus on economic and spatial planning strategy development and implementation. His research focus is on regional and local economic development. He has published more than 60 peer reviewed articles in national and international journals and conference proceedings as a sole and co-author respectively since 2013. He is a reviewer for several national and international journals and has collaboration links with various Asian, east European and US universities.

Sebastian Kot

Sebastian Kot is currently associate professor in management and Vice Director of the Institute of Logistics at Faculty of Management, Czestochowa University of Technology (Poland). He is also the Extraordinary Professor in the School of Economic Sciences, in North-West University, South Africa. He has over 20 years of teaching, research and managerial experience in higher education. He is a Founder and Co-editor of Polish Journal of Management Studies.  He is a Member of Scientific Board of numerous journals. Lecturer and visiting professor at many universities in Hungary, Kazakhstan, Slovakia, Thailand. His research interests include, supply chain management, logistics, sustainability and globalization as well as bibliometrics and scientometrics.

Marina Z. Solesvik

Marina Z. Solesvik is Professor and Chair of Maritime Innovation at Nord University in Bodø, Norway. She is also Professor of Innovation and Management at the Western Norway University of Applied Sciences in Norway. She is a board member at several Norwegian firms and organizations, among others National Riksteatret in Oslo. Marina holds a PhD in Management from the Graduate Business School at the Nord University and a PhD in Entrepreneurship from the Institute of Agrarian Economy in Kiev, Ukraine. Her research interests include regional innovation, open innovation, maritime business, entrepreneurial intentions, female entrepreneurship, digitalization, and strategic alliances.
