Peter Zámborský is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Management and International Business at the University of Auckland in New Zealand. He earned his PhD from Brandeis University’s International Business School in the USA and MSc from the London School of Economics. He is the Editor-in-Chief of the New Zealand Journal of Research on Europe, Editorial Board member of the Forum Scientiae Oeconomia, and Editorial Review Board member of the International Journal of Emerging Markets. Peter’s research focuses on foreign direct investment, knowledge spillovers, foreign market entry modes and global innovation strategy. He has published in the areas of international business, management and economics in journals including Journal of Management & Organization, Journal of Business Strategy, Journal of East European Management Studies, Chinese Management Studies, Global Economy Journal, and Eastern European Economics. Peter is the co-author (with Alain Verbeke et al.) of Contemporary International Business in the Asia-Pacific Region (Cambridge University Press, 2019). Previously, he has held positions at Harvard University, Brandeis University, and worked for The Economist Group (publisher of The Economist magazine) in London, UK and Slovakia. Peter was quoted by the Wall Street Journal, BBC and other media both in Europe and New Zealand.

  Prof. Joanna Paliszkiewicz is the director of the Management Institute at Warsaw University of Life Sciences – SGGW, Poland. She is well recognized in Poland and abroad for her expertise in management issues: knowledge management, social media, and trust. She has published over 200 papers/manuscripts. Besides, she is the author/co-author/editor of 10 books. She has been a part of many scholarship endeavors in the USA, Ireland, Slovakia, Taiwan, the UK, and Hungary. She has actively participated in presenting research results at various international conferences. Currently, Prof. Paliszkiewicz serves as the deputy editor-in-chief of the Management and Production Engineering Review. She is the Associate Editor for the Journal of Computer Information Systems. Prof.  Paliszkiewicz serves as the Vice President at the International Association for Computer Information Systems and the Polish Association for Production Engineering. She was named the 2013 Computer Educator of the Year by IACIS.

Diego Quer is Associate Professor at the Department of Management, University of Alicante, Spain. He is also a regular visiting professor at the Southwest University of Science and Technology (SWUST) in Mianyang, Sichuan, China. His research interests include several topics of international management, like entry modes and emerging-market multinationals, with a special focus on the Chinese context. His publications have appeared in journals such as Asia Pacific Journal of Management, International Business Review, Family Business Review, International Journal of Hospitality Management, Current Issues in Tourism, Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Management, International Journal of Emerging Markets, and Cross Cultural & Strategic Management. He is also an Associate Editor of the European Journal of International Management, and a member of the Editorial Board of Forum Scientiae Oeconomia.

 

  Shuichi Ishida is a professor of technology policy at Tohoku University, Sendai, Japan.   Prof. Nikolay Megits is an expert of global economics, strategic management, FDI in emerging markets, and entrepreneurship, with a distinguished record of academic achievement in lecturing and scholarly research. He possesses over 25 years of international business experience including strategic planning, sales, and import/export practices. Dr. Megits received his MBA from Augsburg University in Minneapolis, and earned a Doctorate in Economics from the Universitas Libera Ucrainensis in Munich, Germany. He is associated with Target Corporation and serves as an adjunct professor for numerous international business courses in the US and abroad. During his business career, Prof. Megits founded, owned and operated several successful start-up enterprises. Most currently, he established the Institute of Easter Europe and Central Asia and launched the Journal of Eastern European and Central Asian Research. Dr. Megits is an Academic of the Ukrainian Academy of Economic Sciences, Member of the U.S. Academy of International Businesses and the Project Management Institute-Minnesota Chapter.
